IVG demonstrated expertise in imaging and visualization to visitors of the communication group. Quick2Insight was shown as an technology development example.
IVG demonstrated expertise in imaging and visualization to visitors from Bowie State University.
IVG provided interactive demos for the tour from the Presidential Management Internship of the White House. Demos include recent work performed by IVG such as image registration and new 3D visualization algorithm.
IVG visited the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at PennState. The Synthetic Environment Applications Laboratory (SEA) at the ARL demonstrated the 5-way projected Kave immersive visualization system. A mice colon cancer image volume was visualized in the Kave to demonstrate the possible advantages of deploying large scale display environment and advanced human-computer interaction tools in order to accelerate cancer research at NCI-Frederick. The SEA laboratory also demonstrated their work on motion tracking (Kinect) and advanced text analysis.
IVG attended Cyviz Collaborative Telepresence for Enhanced Decision Making seminar at Arlington, VA. In the seminar, Cyviz demonstrated their hardware and software products for telepresence.
IVG provided interactive demos for the Towson Tour. Demos include 3D visualization using the new multi-touch table made by IVG and visualization transfer function automation work. About 10 students plus three faculties from Towson university presented in the event.
